また去年の11月、徳島で行なわれた世界阿波踊りコンテストでは、私が歌と三味線を務めた「アメリカ連」が見事優勝を果たしました！そちらの様子もYouTubeに上がっていますので、良かったらどうぞ！
2020年の帰国ライブから3年半以上が過ぎました。
パンデミックの間、帰国がままならなくなり、その間にズームコンサートを何度かさせていただきましたが、ようやく10月13日に東京西荻テラ、22日福岡スペーステラ、25日八幡K&M、28日柳川Cafe de Sato、29日糸島ル音でさせていただくことになりました。
西荻テラと福岡スペーステラでは今年50周年記念を迎えられた日本最古現役ロックバンド、Sentimental City Romanceのキーボーディストで紀彦へのトリビュートアルバムの共同制作をしてくださった細井豊さんのサポートです。
また紀彦の死後、悲しみのどん底にいた私に、歌う場所を作ってくれて私が前向きに生きるためのサポートに全力を注いでくれたKAJAの元ドラムス藤原隆幸、福岡のジャズピアニスト深町善久、徳島から参加の友人ベーシスト大下啓二、ギター石川雄一、奥田英理。素晴らしいミュージシャンのサポートでお送りできる事、改めて感謝の思いでいっぱいです。

KAYOKO’s Music Room 7-30-2022 ズームコンサート〜中野督夫さん（センチメンタルシティロマンス）を偲んで〜
２０１５年５月２１日にエルセリートの自宅で急逝した夫立花紀彦の命日から丸６年の歳月が流れ、この５月２２日（日本では５月２３日）に私の自宅リビングルームから紀彦７回忌記念のZoom コンサートを行いました。
１９８９年７月、２歳半の娘と家族３人でNew York Brooklynに渡り、１９９２年にはSan Franciscoに移住、New Yorkで学んだジュエリー作りのテクニックに和紙を使いてのオリジナルジュエリーを作り始め、１９９３年からはSF ベイエリアでアーツ＆クラフトショー、ストリートフェア、多くの人達に愛されてきました。本当にありがたい事でした。
主人が亡くなってからの６年、元々私たちを繋いだ根源である「音楽」に向き合う事が、私の魂の救いでした。
２０１７年の１２月には、主人へのトリビュートアルバム「S-M-I-L-ing Face」をリリースし、毎冬の日本での音楽活動、「歌うこと」が私の心を支えて来てくれました。
彼と出会い、音楽のパートナー、カヨコデザインズのビジネスのパートナー、そして人生のパートナーとして３８年を共に過ごしました。そして彼なき後７年目に入り、少しづつ、私たちの事、音楽の事など、徒然なるままに綴っていきたいと思います。

As you may know, since my husband Nori passed away on 2015,
I have been gone back to Japan and focused on my music activities
during the winter time (I need to sing to nurture my soul once in a while!).
This year instead I challenged myself to do Zoom concerts from my living room!

Hi everyone
I hope you’re doing well and staying healthy.
Since SIP started, other than creating jewelry, I have been investing my energy into another endeavor. I have been making soil from food compost. I follow a special method using EM(Effective Microorganisms), which open up my eyes towards a tiny tiny universe where microbes exists everywhere (we’re suppose to have good microbiomes in our gut to have better immune systems!)
I feel very connected to these tiny universes, and wanted to make a better sustainable system for my garden for the sake of our earth.
Sun, Soil, the song of birds and wind chime.
They are my best friends now.
I’m looking forward to my happy garden with lots of healthy and lovely vegetables in this fall.
