Kings Mountain Art Fair

Started in 1963, the Kings Mountain Art Fair is an annual event, held every Labor Day weekend. The Art Fair benefits the Kings Mountain Volunteer Fire Brigade, the Kings Mountain Elementary School and other community activities and is staffed completely by volunteers from the local community.

Known for its stunning location among the redwoods and for its unique and varied artists (selected by jury), the Kings Mountain Art Fair celebrates over 50 years of art and ambiance. Come visit!

Fair admission and parking are free

This high quality, community-friendly event is hosted by the Palo Alto Chamber of Commerce with the support of the City of Palo Alto. In the past it has attracted over 150,000 people every year from throughout California and the West Coast. The festival-celebrating its thirty-seventh year-takes place on tree-lined University Avenue in beautiful downtown Palo Alto, a vital economic area 35 miles south of San Francisco.

45th Annual Nihonmachi Street Fair

The Nihonmachi Street Fair is proud of its 45 year history in serving the San Francisco Japan town community. Kayoko Designs has been involved in this community since 1993. This year, Kayoko will be singing with her Trio at Peace Plaza Stage on Sunday 12pm beside of her Jewelry booth. She will be singing Japanese songs and Jazz standards along with her husband Nori's original song. Don't miss out !!

The Arts and Crafts Fair showcases the talent of handcrafted products and designs of artisans from across the country encompassing the theme of the festival. The Arts & Crafts Fair will be hosted on Buchanan Street between Post and Sutter streets from 11am to 6pm on all four weekend days of the festival.

Davis Art Center Holiday Sale

2017 27th Annual Holiday Sale

The Davis Arts Center Annual Holiday Sale, a family and community tradition, is our biggest fundraiser of the year. Held the first weekend in December, the sale features over 60 artisan vendors selling functional and fine art goods, including ceramics, textiles, soaps, jewelry, clothing, home décor, candies and foods. Children do their own shopping at the Children’s Secret Store, where volunteers help them buy and wrap gifts for family and friends – or they can make their own gifts in the pottery-painting studio. Admission is free.

To accommodate children with special needs, the Secret Store will open Wednesday, November 29, from 11 am-6 pm.  Space is limited during these hours, so please reserve a spot for a child who needs more time, more help, or a quieter atmosphere to enjoy the experience of shopping on his or her own, contact the Arts Center at 530-756-4100.

 Thanksgiving Weekend

November 24, 25, & 26, 2017

 

The Crocker Art Museum is delighted to partner again with the Creative Arts League of Sacramento in bringing attendees an opportunity to shop for distinctive, one-of-a-kind treasures at the annual three-day Crocker Holiday Artisan Market 2017. The event will be held at the Scottish Rite Center with plenty of free parking and room for the displays of our creative artisans. Fine and functional work will include glass, textiles, wood, ceramics, paper, photography, painting, sculpture, fiber & textiles, jewelry and more!

Over 109 artists and their original works have been carefully juried into this special event to provide you with an exciting, varied and quality shopping experience that is unique in the region. Meet the artists and find out about their artistic journeys and processes.

Bring your family and friends for a photo taken with Victorian Santa all three days. Enjoy delightful food served by Ambrosia Café. Moonrise Pixies and Elves will be face painting and balloon tying and music by local Musicians will be performed throughout the venue during this three-day event!

Leave crowded mall shopping and mass produced items behind and step into a world of creative wonder and delight this holiday season!
